Claim What's Yours

“You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes.
You can steer yourself any direction you choose.
You're on your own. And you know what you know.
And YOU are the one who'll decide where to go...”

―Dr. Seuss, Oh, The Places You'll Go!

We've all been in places that we'd rather not be. But how many of us would still be there if we KNEW a fool proof way to make today's glass ceiling tomorrow's foundation?

The proof of the pudding is in the eating, -or- you have to eat it to know what's in it!
My point is that, although it's possible to read something and understand it completely, you cannot accomplish what you're intending through understanding alone. Conscious action is necessary- whether in the form of visualization, physical doing, attitude accountability, creating new habits, cutting cords with toxic relationships and substances, etc.

If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always got.

Try something different:
Reach outside of your comfort zone
and apply your will, motivation, effort, and habits
towards what you want to create for yourself and your life.

You cannot get to where you want to be if you do not will it.

You cannot begin to move in the direction of your dreams
if you don't take it upon yourself to motivate yourself.

You cannot achieve what you want to accomplish without applying effort.

And you cannot apply effort if you keep giving in to your same old, oppressive habits.

Take responsibility for your life,
accountability for your actions and happiness,
and claim freedom now.

I came across an amazing page today in search of something for a loved one that reminded me of the power we carry within ourselves, that most of us have forgotten about. It's the unlimited power to create anything we choose~ you can read it here.

At the above link Stefan states, "If you fail to learn to use the law of attraction, you’ll continue to struggle and manifest bad things in your life.  If you can learn to take advantage of it, you possess the ability to create and manifest anything you want in your life."
Basically, if you don't watch what you think, believe, do,  desire, or expect to the degree of abolishing destructive or debilitating subconscious patterns and ways of being, you'll continue to witness your life going in directions other than what you would want for yourself.

There's more to manifesting than simply holding the vision in your mind, although visualization alone is extremely helpful in helping one to achieve goals.

To take advantage of the Law of Attraction:

define your dream: know what you want
get clear on what is desired
believe in your ability to manifest anything you desire
believe that it's not only possible, but already on it's way
create goals in alignment with desires and beliefs
take action in alignment with pulling the vision into physical existence
let go of the outcome while you focus on your goals
while letting go of being attached to how they manifest

I know it sounds easier said than done, but that's where practice comes into play.
L I T E R A L L Y, play. Have fun with it!
The more enjoyment you get out of what you're focusing on,
the more you can feel the passion you have for it and the joy it would give you,
the faster it will become real to you.

"Unless you consciously choose a different future, your past will decide it for you."
—Rod Stryker

Here's couple more powerful statements from Stefan: "If I didn’t have the success I have now, then I would have told you that it’s B.S.  But because I have undeniable evidence and have experienced it working for me first-hand, I am a believer.  I attribute the law of attraction to helping me to create everything I have in my life – the good and the bad.  I take full responsibility for everything that happens for me, the good and bad, as I truly believe that I’ve created and manifested EVERYTHING." and "The way the law of attraction works is simple:  Likes attract likes.  A vibration will attract a similar vibration. The closer the vibrational match, the stronger the magnetic pull. Whatever frequency that you put out is being pulled back towards you, or is attracted to you."
This may sound like a new age idea, woo woo, too much work, or too mystical to be practical or even real- but what do you have to lose by really applying the effort it takes to see if it works for you or not, other than something to complain about or remain in misery over?
What's a commitment of four to six weeks of continual practice towards the life of your dreams in the grand scheme of things? It's small and doable for everyone!
The concepts I'm speaking of here have been said throughout history by some of the world's leading masterminds who have reinvented the world as we know it. The only reason it may seem so foreign is because of the agenda to keep people on the hamster wheel, which we may step off of anytime we're ready.
If you need more proof that this concept has worked for others, you can do a quick internet search and pages upon pages of results will pop up in less than a second in most cases with account after account of the Law of Attraction working for them.

I can honestly say from my own personal experience that it does actually work. I've seen the good and the bad and it has all come from my mindset, intentions, and actions. The good shows up when I apply my ability to focus, make decisions based on what is truly best for me, and use my mind's eye to visualize what I want more of. The same is for the opposite. If my intentions are no good, I'm lazy and playing small or a victim, and my thoughts are made of piss and vinegar~ that's what I get.

It's comfortable to fall into the limited mindset of judgment, dismissal, or falling into the countless reasons of why it won't work for you. Push through those limits by reviewing the beliefs you carry around manifestation, universal laws, and anything that's outside of your current scope of awareness regarding similar subjects.

One cannot manifest what is wanted when they don't first believe that they can.
"Your very intention to keep believing, even in the face of challenges, will often be enough to carry you through any rough spots and keep you focused on the outcome you want." ―David Hooper, author of The Rich Switch - The Simple 3-Step System to Turn on Instant Wealth Using the Law of Attraction
When you have the desire and believing in yourself parts down, the action plan will almost manifest itself because your harmony with it is building momentum towards its manifestation.
A profound statement made by Napoleon Hill in his 1937 unedited edition of Think and Grow Rich, When faith [by which he meant belief] is blended with the vibration of thought, the subconscious mind instantly picks up the vibration, translates it into its spiritual equivalent, and transmits it to the Infinite Intelligence, as in the case of prayer.

And more profound statements on manifesting came from Claude Bristol, author of The Magic of Believing in 1948, We are moulded also by the thoughts of others; by what we hear in our social life, what we read in newspapers, magazines, and books, what we hear in the movies, the theatre, and on the radio; even by chance remarks from the conversation of bystanders --and these thoughts bombard us constantly. Some of them that accord with our own inmost thoughts and also open the way to greater visions in our life are helpful. But often there are thoughts that are upsetting, that weaken our self-confidence, and turn us away from our high purposes. It is these outside thoughts that are the trouble makers, and later I shall point out how you can keep free of them." "However, I would like to point out that hard work alone will not bring success. The world is filled with people who have worked hard but have little to show for it. Something more than hard work is necessary: It is creative thinking and firm belief in your ability to execute your ideas. The successful people in history have succeeded through their thinking. Their hands were merely helpers to their brains. ―Claude M. Bristol, The Magic of Believing

Why?

Although I've always really known the truth, the truth shines brighter than ever today.

Oftentimes we make excuses for what we don't want to face by saying "it is what it is"
and "everything happens for a reason", but that's not true at all.

It's always what we make of it and sometimes things happen for no reason at all.

Our desire for power and control leads us to believe that there are explanations for everything that happens, for our origins, for where we're going next, for why bad things happen in the world, for why good things happen.

The universe isn't in place to teach us lessons or bless us~ it's here to teach us how to be,
to create, to explore, and to realize the depths within us are more vast than we can imagine.

As Above, So Below.

Is it so hard to not need to know why? Why anything, why everything?

Why not just be?

I Am Authentic

How am I so happy and yet so sad at the same time?

What’s wrong with wanting all my reasons to rhyme?

I look in the mirror grateful that I survived
and simultaneously wonder how I’m alive

How much suffering can one person take?
If I’m not being crucified, I’m burned at the stake.

What’s wrong with wanting all suffering to end?
Why is that most only have one true friend, if that?

How many people must I be forced to walk away from?
Why do I want to feel when I’ve always wanted to be numb?

What has changed in me that’s causing this revolution?
How did I break free from the institution…

that broke me into a million tiny pieces
and told me salvation lies in my thesis?

My worth isn’t found in textbooks or assignments
or in someone else’s interpretation of my alignment
with who I know, where I'm going, and where I’ve been
or the balance between my yang and my yin.

I determine my value and where I’m going,
whether I’m growing or whether I’m towing
baggage from thoughts I refuse to heal
or letting them go in order to reveal

exactly who I Am.

Limitless, powerful, sexual, and expansive~

I Am.
